In my artwork, I capture the complexity of the human experience through bold abstractions that evoke deep emotions.

Creativity took the front seat in my life after a traumatic brain injury five years ago. Recovery was slow, and I couldn’t tolerate the overstimulation of a world my brain struggled to process, so I began to paint. This new form of expression created energy out of stillness and sparked a child-like curiosity that soon became a daily practice. These healing brushstrokes, which began as small marks in bound journals, have evolved into larger and larger paintings.

Through my artwork, I capture the complexity of the human experience through bold abstractions that evoke deep emotions. Using tools like handmade monoprints, found paper, sanding, scraping, layering, paint, pastels, markers, and pencils, I infuse energy, history, and depth into each piece. I invite you to explore your sense of discovery and connection within these layers.

It is through a thread of connectivity that humanity is united in the most unexpected ways. Sometimes, it's as simple as sharing the joy of a cherished moment or discovering a matching piece within the complex patchwork of our experiences. No matter how many threads you've woven, each day offers a new chance to form a bond, for we have far more in common than what divides us.
